The goal of your promotions is to get people to view the webinar. 

Email: 

The ideal email cadence. 

1st Email: 3 weeks out

2nd email: 2 weeks out

3rd email: 1 week out

4th email: 3 days out

5th email: 1 day out

6th email: day-of: 1 hour before. 

7th email: 15 min prior 


Texting: 

If you can get your audience’s phone number, text once when you get it, then replace the 5th and 7th emails. 


Client communications and touchpoints. 

Each time you send info to a client is a chance to share your voice. 


Each communication should do 2 things: Share new about the webinar + the general details. 


New info can include: 

  • Things about speaker 1

  • Things about speaker 2, etc. 

  • Things about the moderator

  • Why the event is happening

  • Background on the topic

  • Background on the industry

  • Future webinars you’re hosting on the topic

  • Past webinars you’ve hosted on the topic


Doesn’t need to be a huge email. 300-500 words will be fine. 

But each email should include a link to register. Always have this go to the same place.
