I’m reading “The War of Art” by Steven Pressfield. From the beginning, I’ve found a consistency that applies to, among other things I’m sure, Triathlon.
” Its not the writing that is hard. What’s hard is sitting down to write. What keeps us from sitting down is resistance”.
Replace “writing” with training and that is the biggest hurdle. For ~8 weeks, I’ve been training for an Ironman triathlon that is 40 weeks away. Each week, I am supposed to complete 11 workouts per week.
I have yet to complete 11 workouts per week. The biggest challenge is: starting the workout.
There is so much hard truth in this book. Highly recommended.
